Lots of sites say you should drink caffeine black but if I do that then I definitely get nauseous. Can you intermittent fast (skip breakfast) but have some milk in your tea in the morning ?
Unfortunately no, you should not add milk if you want to do true fasting. But I think a small amount would be unlikely to completely ruin the benefits.
Hei.
I was wondering if you knew anything about intermittent fasting ang pregnancy and/or trying to conceive? It is suggested several places that it is not advised but I can not find any scientific articles about this particular topic.
No, unfortunately we don’t have any either. If Dr. Mattson knows of any data on this we’ll let you know.
Dr. Mattson said: “I am unaware of any studies of IF during pregnancy or when trying to conceive. One would expect IF to be beneficial in overweight women in those settings, but this remains to be established.”
