In this 182nd episode I welcome the president of the ASA medical student component, Stacia Griebahn, and the president-elect, Abigail Schirmer to the show to discuss what medical students applying in anesthesiology are concerned about this year and the responses that PDs have to those concerns.

Great episode!
While a socially distanced interview season is undeniably full of challenges and disadvantages, one possible silver lining is the huge potential savings from traveling and lodging expenses.
On a related note, and I’m incredibly empathetic to the financial strains of medical school, but one might consider making a small investment into optimizing their interview environment (whether that be new headphones, a router, high speed internet, etc.) realizing that it is still likely a significant cost savings over the travel that would have otherwise been required.
Just a slightly different perspective.
