  1. I really enjoyed this episode. As a future Hopkins resident it answers questions about integration of unique combined type residency students. I think medical students interested in EM/Anesthesia will find this podcast very appealing as they try to figure out the program that will be the best fit for them. I think it would be great if you continued to highlight the other unique programs at Hopkins including the combined Peds/Anesthesia program which you alluded too as well as other tracks like Critical Care Scholar program to give more information to prospective students in the podcast format.

  2. Amazing. As a residency applicant, I can’t believe there is a training program that combines 2 of the most exciting fields in medicine. Johns Hopkins leadership shows fantastic innovation in residency training concerns, and I am sure other institutions will follow you in offering this unique path. I would not be surprised if this were the beginning of a change in the paradigm of EM and Anesthesia as different medical careers.
