  1. One thing that didn’t come up in this episode that affects new moms a lot is the length of maternity leave. I had a baby last fall as a CA-1 and took 5 weeks which was ok for me… but then I had no vacation for over a year. Many of the females in my residency were excited to hear of the new policy effective July 1, 2019 that will help! http://www.theaba.org/ABOUT/Policies-BOI

Neat to see that the ABA cares about this.

    1. Thanks Rachel and congratulations on your kid! I agree, the new policy is a step in the right direction to support residents who are new parents.
